Guest guest
Posted by Yaduraja on Dec 03, 2005: Dear Ramakanta Prabhu, PAMHO, AGTSP, I am hoping that many of your doubts about our position will be dispelled when you finish the NCIP paper (I'm such an optimist) so I’m just wondering if you may want to first finish that before we continue. Its up to you, it just may save time. From what you have written so far I can promise you, you have not presented anything to even challenge the above paper, not to speak of disprove it. You had previously asked: "Did Srila Prabhupada from 1978 to 2005 order that he stopped being the sole diksa-guru for ISKCON?" I had answered : “I have seen no evidence for this.” You then say: You did not answer my question. Please answer with "yes", "no", or "we don't know". I have explained that our position is based ONLY on evidence that exists on Folio, so when I say 'I have seen no such evidence' this means the answer must be ‘no’. Hope that is clearer. You then remind me of Dr. Frog. But the story of Dr. Frog is not at all applicable here. It is possible to provide evidence for the existence of the ocean, yet you have not produced ANY evidence that such an order has been given. You have presented highly contentious evidence which could only at best prove INTENT to give an order, not the actual order under debate. Claiming someone INTENDED to give an order is not the same as PROVING that he DID. Only if such RELEVANT evidence existed, and I refused to consider it could you then claim I am like Dr. Frog. The ocean exists, your evidence for this elusive order so far has not manifested. I may be wrong but I have a ghastly feeling that your position is going to be largely based on such ridiculous appeals to non-existent evidence. If you are happy with this reply I will go to the next question. best wishes Ys Yadu
