"It is my ambition that all devotees may remain self independent by

producing vegetables, grains, milk, fruits, and flowers…This simple life is

very nice." (Srila Prabhupada)

Have you ever dreamt of working the land? Would you like to experience

what it's like to grow your own food while cultivating a more simple way of

living? Well, Bhaktivedanta Manor is currently looking for two ladies (due

to limited accommodation) to assist with the horticultural department on

their small 3 acre organic vegetable farm.

The applicants will be expected to do the following:

- Work outdoors (sometimes in rain and cold) in crop growing and

cultivation.

- Assist with harvesting farm produce (this may require late

finishing)

- to be able to work with other people, and/or

- to be able to sometimes work without any supervision at all.

- to be responsible for ones own timekeeping.

- Some general temple services may be required on occasion.

- to be in good health and willing to work well.

- to commit to work for a period of 6 months-1 year. (preferable 1

year)

- Follow the Temple program, unless reasonable circumstances

dictate otherwise

In return for your assistance you will:

-Be able to assist in an exciting, pioneering project and gain

experience and knowledge that can greatly benefit you and your home temple.

- have your travel expenses covered to and from Bhaktivedanta Manor.

- be given use of a shared room in the ladies ashram during your

stay.

- Be given three meals per day and whatever Mahaprasadam you can get

access to!

- gain a wonderful experience of a preaching center situated in the

English countryside

- Be witness to many different preaching programs held at the

Manor.
