Guest guest
"...despite failing eyesight and shaky health he published handbills and wrote innumerable letters to everyone he knew, urging each of them to contribute for this cause." Does 'innumerable letters to everyone he knew' suggest that he wrote innumerable letters to each individual that he knew? Or can it be accepted as understood that he wrote one or a few letters to each individual that he knew (which is my intended meaning)?
