Dear Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances.

During Ekadasi want kind food one can take. In some places ( I am based in

INDIA ) devotees take Tomato and other places they avoid because it contains

lot of seeds. Same thing for leafy vegetables like cabbage, curry leaves.

Even salt some places devotees take normal salt whereas others take brown

colored salt. Same thing for fruits.

I am confused with these different types of food we take during Ekadasi. Of

course we can fast either nirjal or having simple fruits but sometimes due

to certain circumstances we need to have some extra food. Is there any

standard laid in ISKCON / by GBC. Can anyone enlighten this topic? If

possible please give me the list of things (vegetables, fruits..) that can

be taken during Ekadasi.

Thanks in advance.

Your servant

Kesavan.
