Guest guest
Dear Maharaja and Prabhus, PAMHO All glories to Srila Prabhupada ! Wishing you all a very Krishna conscious new year. There are some discussions and controversy going on among devotees here about this topic : how do we know for sure if a devotee went back to Godhead ? Some devotees have recently quit their bodies in very auspicious circumstances (surrounded by other devotees, they were chanting the holy names, some were in the dhama) and we have assumed they went back to Godhead, maybe Krishnaloka. They also had quite a lot of serious and intense devotional service to their credit. Are we to doubt the words of Krishna that whoever remembers Him at the time of death witll reach His abode ? Many times Srila Prabhupada said to his followers that if they follow strictly they could be liberated in this very life. He also said somewhere that we do not have to be 100% pure, and that Lord Caitanya would make up for our lacks and imperfections. Besides Jayananda Prabhu, did Srila Prabhupada mention about specific devotees going back to Godhead ? Dear readers, please help me present solid arguments to the seekers and the doubters, as I will write an article about this topic in a magazine I am publishing. Thank you.
