Srila Prabhupada said no grains or beans.. If we follow that we are safe.

He also said the nirjal (and no sleep) is real ekadasi. We can chaoose any

level of tapasya according to our means, but we must avoid grains and beans.

Maharaj can you please give us some more inputs on this subject because some

places devotees still avoid some vegetables which wont comes under BEANS

category. Same for fruits.

I am working on a book(Let) to shed some light on the controversy of

what/what not to eat on Ekadasi.
