The brahmana sages endeavor to enlighten the people by perfect knowledge, and the ksatriyas are meant for their protection. SB 1.12.19 Purport Editor's Note Krsna conscious preachers, leaders and managers always discuss how to benefit the people they serve. They do their best to understand the nature of people and engage them accordingly. They enlighten people with sastric knowledge, encourage them and help them to apply it, and also make practical arrangements so people can serve Krsna nicely. They have people's best interest at heart. They are actually like caring parents who are mostly gentle but also sometimes strict, when needed.
