this reminds me of a stroy which you might have heard of. probably Srila

Prabhupada quotes it somewhere but i am not sure. here it is (as i remember

it).

two women claimed that they were the mother of a boy who wasn't sure who was

his real mother. both mothers were fighting, arguing and what not, in order

to prove their claim. finally they went to court. after so much of

arguments and counter arguments, the intelligent judge declared that since

both the mothers were so sure of their claim and didn't want to give up the

boy. the boy would be cut into two and given to each of them half. one of

the "mothers" didn't mind it but the other one started crying and said she

would let the boy go to the other woman. the judge then gave his judgement

that the woman who agreed to let the boy go to the other woman was the real

mother.

Hare Krishna.

This is a story about King Solomon, from the Old Testament of the Bible.
