Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > Could you therefore explain how what you MEANT when you wrote: > > "Srila Prabhupada announced that he will stop being the sole diksa-guru > for ISKCON." > > Is different from the following in MEANING: > > "Srila Prabhupada announced that he will stop being the diksa-guru for > ISKCON." I did not write that these two statements are different in meaning. You explained that they mean the same, and I accept your explanation. But by "stop being the diksa-guru for ISKCON" I did not mean "stop being the sole diksa-guru for ISKCON". So you understood something else than what I meant. Therefore I repeat my question: By looking at the grammar, the meaning of the words, etc. you concluded some meaning of my statement. But this is not what I meant. You misunderstood me. You did a similar thing with Srila Prabhupada's statements. So what is the guarantee that you correctly understood Srila Prabhupada? Is this question so difficult to answer? ys Ramakanta dasa
