Guest guest
Posted by Yaduraja on Jan 06, 2006: Dear Ramakanta Prabhu, PAMHO, AGTSP, Obviously with the following new wording... > "stop being *a* diksa guru for ISKCON". you are now saying something quite different from before. That’s fine. It rather eccentrically implies the existence of a plurality of diksa gurus at that time; fair enough, you should say it how you see it. The curious ramifications for your new wording I shall discuss with you once we get back to point b), if we ever do. But this clearly means it was quite unfair to claim I had misrepresented your position. Actually it was you who misstated your position, not me. So if you withdraw the accusation that I attacked a fabricated position (which is a straw man attack) in return I shall withdraw my accusation that you contradicted yourself and promise I will only address your curious new wording in the future, and thus we can return to our discussion of point a). There, that's a pretty fair deal. Since you admit your ‘question’ could apply to anyone in the world then I’ll let you answer it since there are already dozens of outstanding points you have made that I have still to address (they are all stacked up before my very eyes with rebuttals already prepared for every last one of them). So if you like you can post your own reply since you say you already know the answer and I’ll let you know if I disagree with it. I do not see it as relevant to this current debate since if there is no possibility of understanding Srila Prabhupada then there is no point in ANY further discussion. And if there is a possibility to understand Srila Prabhupada properly then that possibility will be open to everyone equally. Best wishes Ys Yadu
