Even after you withdrew your straw man accusation you still maintained:

That is the definition of a straw man argument. Please look at the

definition you posted yourself Dec 31, 2005 - 08:36 PM. Are you now saying

that definition was incorrect too?

 

What actually occurred is that you misstated your own position. I was

dealing with the position you posted since I am not a mind reader. Even

though I had been asking you to explain what you really meant since 27th

Dec, you only finally changed your wording to match your position on the 6th

Jan. You wasted two weeks avoiding answering my request for clarification.

Now you have finally corrected yourself with a position you may also regret

you stated if we ever get back to point b).

 

The fact is I have understood both your stated positions perfectly as it

turns out. I never refuted something that was not your stated position. If

you agree with this then we can go on.
