Dear Ramakanta Prabhu,

PAMHO, AGTSP,

I had written:

"The fact is I have understood both your stated positions perfectly as it

turns out. I never refuted something that was not your stated position. If

you agree with this then we can go on."

To which you kindly wrote:

> I agree.

Thank you very much. So then the following ‘question’ of yours:

> You misunderstood me.

> You did a similar thing with Srila Prabhupada's statements. So what is the

> guarantee that you correctly understood Srila Prabhupada?

Is not so relevant since, as we have just seen above, I tend to be able to

understand things if they are in English quite well.

If there is a big word I don’t understand I just look it up in the

dictionary and I’m away.

Similarly I can understand the July 9th letter since it is written very

clearly in English. If I just take the face meaning of that letter, approved

by Srila Prabhupada, it is very clear to me what system of initiation he

ordered for ISKCON. It really does not require a great deal of ‘technically

analyzing’ as you say. This 'technically analyzing' only becomes necessary

when people foolishly argue that we must stop following this very simple

instruction. For example, in TFO Krishnakant prabhu very ably dissects all

the laborious and complex layers of excuses for why this order was stopped,

and that has admittedly required some degree of analysis.

In my experience a new person to Krishna Consciousness, who has not had the

damaging, contaminating misfortune of spending years serving a deviant

so-called guru, can very quickly grasp the meaning of this letter.

Anyway I shall certainly try and take your advice if I don’t know the answer

to something:

> then go and read Srila Prabhupada's books and transcribed lectures.

Thank you for that. So if you like I am happy and enthusiastically ready to

return to discussing point a).

Best wishes

Ys

Yadu
