Guest guest
Dear Pranava prabhu, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Thank you for your letter, which seemed to clarify what you had written. But you also wrote, > "those who want to > associate exclusively with ISKCON devotees in good standing should avoid > the courses, as it may become unconfortable to mix with people from > different backgrounds, possessing diverse philosophical orientations That means that ISKCON devotees *not* in good standing are attending these courses. So I guess my next question is: why on earth would someone want to associate with, as you've listed: - devotees recognized as not being in good standing; - people who possess 'diverse philosophical orientations'? The word "diverse" is a minefield: the process is simple and it's given in so many different literatures that Srila Prabhupada translated and wrote. My question is, why do these people need to "divert" themselves with another "philosophical orientation" to figure out what devotional service is? And if they do so, where do they get off defending it as though it's some kinda wonderful?? THAT is what I really want to know.
