I couldn't agree more -- but where are the people who know that art? If there are any, why are they not speaking out? I don't actually believe it's right, but if someone *wants* to stay quiet about an issue, then that's their choice. I personally don't believe it's the right choice, because I think we all have a responsibility towards Srila Prabhupada and his institution. But I would never tell some that "you should speak up." However, when those who do speak up are flawed in their presentation, then it's hardly a worthy pastime to choose THAT moment to speak up, and start going on about delivery and so on. I know you have no problem in getting your point across, but some sit silent and only attack the ojectors. It's ignoring the principle and attacking the detail. So if there is someone who knows the art, let them speak. Maybe they can do a course, call it Satya-trove -- "valuable items of truth"! Hari Sauri prabhu just wrote a nice article that we're publishing in the Mayapur Magazine that mentions this. Very nice article about ISKCON worldwide and how it looks.... > This recalls > the old story about Dr. Kapoor's suggesting to Srila Prabhupada that he > should come up with a medicine for becoming Krishna conscious, to which > Srila Prabhupada replied that he knew the formula but wasn't yet able to > compund the medicine itself. And that's > what it's really all about, isn't it? Speaking of which, I received the nicest gift in the mail yesterday from NE BBT -- it's a buff, a stretchy, elongated piece of fabric that goes around the neck, instead of a scarf I imagine. Printed on it is the verse 'trnad api sunicena...' So while I'm a long from it, Babhru, I'm at least wearing it around my neck as from today ... I'll let you know how it goes Your servant Braja Sevaki dd
