Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! Don't waste time. Just provide a proof that Srila Prabhupada set himself up, deliberately, in the position of the sole diksa guru for ISKCON in 1966 (as you wrote on November 17, 2005), or admit that it is unproven. Your tactics of finding contradictions in the statements of you opponents does not work this time because basically I just said, "Please prove your unproven statement". For you there is nothing to refute this time. > You certainly did not deny point a), you agreed with it. So why did you > agree with it if you thought it was still unproven? I already explained this. Why are you asking it again? I agreed with following: 1) Srila Prabhupada was the sole diksa guru for ISKCON from 1966 to 1977. 2) Srila Prabhupada set things up that way in 1966. I understood "Srila Prabhupada set things up that way in 1966 because he was the sole diksa guru". (I still agree with that.) (Note that I no longer agree with the wording "Srila Prabhupada set things up that way in 1966" because you understand something different than I.) I wrote following: It is unproven that the status quo 1) was caused by the activity 2). This is not a contradiction to what I understood, namely "Srila Prabhupada set things up that way in 1966 because he was the sole diksa guru". Rather, following would have been a contradiction: It is proven that the status quo 1) was caused by the activity 2). Srila Prabhupada set things up that way in 1966 because he was the sole diksa guru. I agreed with this: 2) because of 1). I wrote that this is unproven: 1) because of 2). So the answer to your question is that I agreed with something that is the opposite of what I wrote is unproven. Is it clear now? ys Ramakanta dasa
