Whatever is officially advertised, must be bonafide and > > recomended to all. > Now, as you well know, I'm all for kicking a man when he is down, and I would love to join in. Unfortunately for me, I have visited Radhadesh in Belgium, where the course is being held. All courses there are developed under the guidance of Praghosa prabhu who is the GBC, and Ambarish (Mr. Ford) is part of the exciting educational developments going on there along with other distinguished vaishnavas. They have a plethora of courses, you can find them at www.radhadesh.com. The faculty council of Bhaktivedanta College is made up of: Akhandadhi Das Anuradha Dasi, MST (Oxford) Hanuman Das, PhD (University of Barcelona, Spain) Kadamba Kanana Swami Kartamasa Das, BA (University of Florida) Kripamoya Das Krsna Ksetra Das, PhD(Oxford) Locana Das, PhD (Mainz University, Germany) Pranava Das, MA (University of Gothenburg and University of Stockholm) Radhika Ramana Das, MST, (Oxford) Rati Manjari Devi Dasi, MST (Oxford) Rasamandala Das Ravindra Svarupa Das, PhD (Temple University) Sacinandana Swami Sita Rama Das Sesa Das, Juris Doctor (University of California, School of Law Vraja Lila Dasi, MA (Berkeley University In the hands of such senior vaishnavas as these, I am sure that anyone who attends the course on Atma Yoga will find that they have a very useful additional skill for preaching Krishna Consciousness in the West due to the interest in yoga, and it could provide an income related to Krishna Consciousness for devotee Grihasthas, a very commendable activity. As an example I am sure you know, Srila Prabhupada taught sanscrit when he arrived in the US as a means to interest people in Krishna Consciousness. So yoga is entirely the same idea. The courses are also raising funds for the Chateau in Belgium, allowing grihastas to earn a livelihood and educating interested members of the public and devotees on many subjects at the same time. Radhadesh is an amazing chateau, in a continent which has being scarcely surviving in Krishna Consciousness since Bhagavan messed things up. Germany, for instance, now has Ravindra Swarup commuting from America to manage, and devotees travel weekly from the UK to do the worship in the Chateau in France. Somehow Radhadesh with repeated attention from devotees like Bhakti Caru Swami and Radhanatha Swami has managed to maintain itself and is finding its feet. And it is a most wonderful place to stay - and, of course, take prasadam. The deities of Jagannatha Baladeva and Subhadra were installed by Srila Prabhupada. Big lila about that.
