Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > I proved it some time ago. I refuted your attempts to prove it. > I proved it so convincingly that you agreed with it three times. That is not true. I never agreed that Srila Prabhupada set himself up, deliberately, in the position of the sole diksa guru for ISKCON in 1966. Please speak only the truth. > I shall re-prove it, but first things first. Okay, I am waiting for your proof that Srila Prabhupada set himself up, deliberately, in the position of the sole diksa guru for ISKCON in 1966. And don't waste time by posting anything else. > Please admit you contradicted yourself twice in a row so we can move > forward. I don't mind if you don't move forward and leave your claim unproven. > But you are the person I am debating. So should I just ignore you then? I did not write that you should ignore me. I wrote that you should not base your arguments on what I agree with. In other words: you should not commit a logical fallacy similar to "argumentum ad verecundiam" ("argument from authority") and say "the proof is because Ramakanta agreed with it". > And now you refuse to admit you contradicted yourself twice in a row. Here is my last try to explain it: When I wrote these statements, I did not contradict myself because at that time I did not know the actual English meaning of the words. I admit that you have better English knowledge than I. And I admit that because you know the actual English meaning of the words you may see a contradiction. ys Ramakanta dasa
