This seems like a very reasonable and intelligent request: where are the

guidelines for someone presenting themselves as a bonafide teacher/guide in

ISKCON? And the courses that DG and now this Atmayoga are presenting ...

well, it remains to be seen what Atmayoga is, but there is no doubt that the

courses DG presents are not bonafide for various reasons. Is it the same

with AY? Who decides? Where is the governing body that monitors what we

present to the world as a bonafide ISKCON program? It requires more than the

usual line that is tossed out: "Such-and-such guru has done this course",

and we're all meant to fall over ourselves to do the same :)

That's one guidelines, but it doesn't mean that just because someone can't

live in the temple, then we don't give shelter. Certainly there needs to be

outreach centres and bridge preaching. Most won't "join" as they did twenty

years or so ago. But the fact is that there is monitoring required for what

is being preached under ISKCON's name.
