Chandi Prabhu Leaves this world

Dear Prabhus,

 

This is to regretfully inform you that Chandi Prabhu, a good disciple of

Srila Prabhupada from Mexico, left his body at approximately 8 PM this

evening, Monday January 30 while he was recuperating from Pneumonia at the

Good Samaritan Hospital in Downtown Los Angeles. He was 57 years old in

this body and was noted among many for having done wonderful service to

Srila Prabhupada. He leaves behind his sons and daughters, Dhanvantari dd,

Gaura dd, Nimai Das and grand-daughter Mohini dd, a beautiful and chaste

devotee family. We had heard that he was recuperating after a battle with

Pneumonia, but according to Jaya Gauranga Prabhu, he suffered a couple of

attacks this evening, which caused his passing.

 

Please pray and send your blessings that Krsna was with him, in his

thoughts, at the last moment. Please also pray for his family left behind.

 

As with others, we will be asking anyone to help by donating a few dollars

towards his cremation so that his ashes may be sent to his desired

destination in the holy dhama. If you are so inclined and able, please log

Following in the line of the great Vaishnavas, we sadly rejoice in his

passing, that he is closer to Krsna and has completed his tasks for this

life on Earth among his god brothers and sisters in the service of Lord

Krsna and with Srila Prabhupada as his guide.
