It's not "thought," it's "logic," and that's what so many atheists seem to thrive on, and so is the only way to defeat them. Or at least to shut them up, which is as pleasing to me as defeat, albeit perhaps not so effective. > So the conclusion of our analysis is > that the proof demands a qualified audience. This is the only other response I'd ever give an atheist. I'm not really much of an arguer, because I'm so personally so arrogant, combined with a high level of self-confidence about my faith and dismissive of feeble attacks on it, that the attackers generally tire of me rather swiftly To be honest, I'm not really that interested in "defeating atheism." I'm on the side of the fence that thinks the offense of preaching to the non-believers and sinful is a detriment to chanting Hare Krishna. Mind you, that sounds awfully lofty, since I admit the other 10 offenses are much more of a burden to me than this one. And I am aware of what Srila Prabhupada said about defeating the atheists, so please don't send me quote after quote about that. I am not convinced that he meant arguing with them on internet or in random spaces. He was more in favor of the organized and scientific efforts of the Bhaktivedanta Institute for the educated atheists, and the distribution of prasadam and the holy name for the ignorant masses. For everyone in between (but not excluding those two groups), there are his books. Your servant Braja Sevaki dd
