Whether or not you indent after an excerpt depends on whether you

conceive of what follows it as a new paragraph.

 

If you're putting the excerpt in the midst of what you regard as a

single paragraph, don't indent. If you're putting the excerpt at the

end of a paragraph and before a new one, do indent.
