Guest guest
Pamho, agtSP! Try to read what this foolish atheist has to say: --------------------- God does not worship any higher being. He is sure that there is no higher power that he can beg to change the chain of events. He does not struggle with doubts or try to force himself to believe in anything. He does not legitimize his moral judgements with anything external to himself. He does not have moral scruples. Neither does he act in ways he does not want to because any external moral dogma tells him to. God is a hedonistic strong atheist! Satan knows that God exists. He can match the most fundamentalistic person in strength of conviction about the supernatural. He knows that his acts is evil from the perspective of Gods moral laws and that he sooner or later will face the consequences. His morality is not his own, but one that he has accepted from a higher being that he acknowledge as his creator. Satan is a fundamentalistic theist with absolute/dogmatic morality. Now, isn't is nice to know that in the end, strong atheism with hedonistic relativistic morality will be victorious? --------------------- According to this atheist the definition of a theist is that he must: 1) Believe in a higher being 2) Worship a higher being 3) Legitimize his moral judgements with something external to himself 4) Have moral scruples 5) He should not just act as he likes, but should act according to some external moral code These criteria are of course wrong. I would argue that the simple definition of a theist a person who accepts the existence of God or strongly believes in it, and who tries his best to act according to Gods word. God accepts His own existence and act according to His own word. Therefore He's NOT an atheist (I was actually laughing when I read this argument the first time. Who can take it seriously?) Now, Satan might accept the existence of God, but He acts contrary to Gods words, and therefore he's an atheist. More could be said, like God is not hedonistic but the perfect utilitarian, since all His actions have the best possible effect for everyone. Any comments?
