Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! For some reason you are unable to prove your claim that before Srila Prabhupada conducted the first initiation ceremony in ISKCON he had already set things up to be the sole diksa guru for ISKCON. Thus you confirmed that this is unproven. Thanks. It seems to be your nature to make claims and then not prove them. I will now move to your next point and discuss 'speculation' with you: On Feb 13, 2006 you wrote: > If you say he is your diksa guru then you must accept his authority on all > matters. > He fully endorsed the rubber stamping ‘guru’ system currently in > operation. If he is your diksa guru then you must accept this system as > authorised. Therefore you must accept the other ISKCON gurus as equally > authorised. This is just simple logic. Srila Prabhupada said: "As the Vedanta-sutra (2.1.11) declares, tarkapratisthanat: 'Logical reasoning is inconclusive.'" (NBS 74, purport) And at www.dictionary.com "speculation" is described as "reasoning based on inconclusive evidence." So when you wrote "This is just simple logic", you actually said "This is just simple speculation". Does this answer your question? ys Ramakanta dasa
