Dear Ramakanta Prabhu,

PAMHO. AGTSP!

I had written:

"Harikesa is your diksa guru therefore you must accept his authority on all

matters, you can’t cherry pick."

To which you finally offered clarification:

> No, I don't have to accept his authority on all matters. I can reject him.

> Note that when I wrote "He is my diksa guru", I meant "He is the spiritual

> master who initiate me", just that. And he would remain that even if I

> rejected him. (In chapter 80 of the Krishna Book Srila Prabhupada said:

> "the spiritual master who initiates the disciple is called diksa-guru".)

Ah, well now you are saying something quite different. You see in English

you spoke in the present tense: ‘My gurus *are* Harikesa…’ ‘He *is* my

diksa-guru.’ My logic was based on what you wrote, I am not a mind reader.

If you have rejected him then you should have said something like ‘My guru

*was* Harikesa, but now I have rejected him’ ‘He *was* my diksa guru’ etc.

So my logical reasoning was still faultless, but you had once again

misstated your actual position. As I said before I can generally understand

things in English. The fact that you have this problem with the language may

explain why you have misunderstood Srila Prabhupada. Anyway fear not, I’m

here to help.

You wrote:

Neither do we. Jai!!! We’re moving closer all the time. Just let me know

when you want me to send you the IRM membership papers?

So obviously if you reject Harikesa then he cannot be your diksa guru,

indeed he could never have been your diksa guru since that relationship goes

on lifetime after lifetime. You may recall this line from a song we sing

everyday to our real diksa guru, Srila Prabhupada:

Cakhu-dano-dilo-jei, janme janme prabhu sei.

Srila Prabhupada comments:

"Janme janme prabhu sei. So where there is separation? Who has opened your

eyes, he is birth after birth your prabhu".

(Room conversation, 21/7/75)

So in fact, according to our philosophy, you have never been initiated by a

bone fide diksa guru since you have sensibly cut off that relationship due

to his falling down and preaching rubbish. Based on your clarification this

means that Harikesa’s latest philosophy is now no longer relevant for

discussion.

So if you agree with the above I shall move on to the next unfair accusation

you made against me.

Best wishes

Ys
