Dear Maharajas/Prabhus.

 

Please accept our humble Obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

25-02-2006 Dwadashi. Disappearance of Srila Eshwara Puri.

 

On this day we lost a good devotee in our temple. H G Bhakta Kiran Prabhu

lost

his life in Vasudeva Thirtha in Sri Pajaka Kshetra Near Udupi, the birth

place

of Sripad Madwacharya. And the Kunda (Vasudeva Thirtha was created by

Madwacharya for his old parents).

 

As we had a pilgrimage to Pajaka Kshetra along with temple full time

devotees

and 35 congregation members. Bhakta Kiran Prabhu( age 25 ) and other

devotees

were taking bath in the pond and suddenly Kiran Prabhu drowned in the pond

(he

did not know swimming). The pond is only 15x15 and 15' deep, but we could

not

save him.

 

He is from Mangalore and connected to ISKCON from 1998 and became full time

in

2003. He was a very service minded, enthusiastic, having very good sadhana,

good kirtan singer and simple devotee and taken shelter of H H Radhanath

Swami

Maharaj 2 years back and his name was listed for this years initiation. He

was

very much inspired By H G Devamrita Prabhu and H G Dyalchandra Prabhu.

 

He was very fond of Madwacharaya since he joined and always he use to go to

Pajaka Kshetra during Sri Madhva Navami. He even told us that he had a dream

of

Madwacharya telling him that in his last life as he did some offence he had

to

take birth again and then come back to join him in the spiritual world.(he

had

all good qualities of good disciple)

 

ISKCON Mangalore has lost a great soul, who was a future hope for the

movement.

We the devotees of ISKCON Mangalore pray at the lotus feet of all the

Vaishnavas to pray for the departed soul.
