Guest guest
In Auckland, New Zealand, we opened our very beautiful new Temple in January 2004 and our Deities were moved then from the old Farmhouse extension temple where we had been worshipping for twenty-five years. Sri Sri Radha Giridhari, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra (who were all installed by Srila Prabhupada himself) are now very happily residing in this glorious new temple which has been described as being one of the most beautiful and functional in the whole world, and similar to Vrndavan in its amazingly attractive and peaceful rural environment. The total cost of the temple was three million NZ dollars plus of course many hours of work voluntarily donated. But it was necessary in the final stages to take out a large bank loan and we are now in debt to the tune of 750,000 NZD and paying monthly interest. Our congregation has come up with a fabulous idea to clear all our debts and we are now asking all our friends, especially those who have had some association with Sri Sri Radha Giridhari and ISKCON in Auckland to join with us in this endeavour. Attached is a resume of the project, and full details can be found on our website, www.iskconnz.com/1million This is a once in a lifetime event. Please participate in completing this "1 million dollar Krishna painting" and receive the mercy of Lord Krishna and His devotees. Kindly forward this message to your friends and family members to make this happen.
