Guest guest
>So if the original is Vishnu bhakti prade devi we have to continue Vishnu >bakti prade deve and not change the mantra just because it is technically >correct, as Krishna and Vishnu are same. One of the services I was fortunate to have been given was interviewing devotees for the Prabhupada Nectar books in the mid 80's. This question of mantras and their proper or technical pronunciation came up again and again during the course of the interviews. In particular this 'Vishnu or Krishna bhakti'. All the devotees who mentioned this had at one time or another brought this to Srila Prabhupada's attention. Srila Prabhupada's instruction was that one can use either 'Vishnu bhakti' or 'Krishna bhakti' but of the two, 'Vishnu bhakti' is technically more correct.
