Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > b) Srila Prabhupada never ordered that he should ever stop being the diksa > guru for ISKCON. > > So to disprove b) you need to produce the order wherein Srila Prabhupada > says he should stop being the diksa guru for ISKCON. Since you don't want to commit the logical fallacy of 'shifting the burden of proof', you are not asking me to disprove b). Right? Your point b) is unproven. And it remains unproven until you produce a proof. > As yet I have not seen such a quote. If you cannot produce such a quote > then please just say so so we can move straight to point c). I have no objection if you don't prove your point b) and skip to your point c) ("Therefore Srila Prabhupada remains the diksa guru for ISKCON"). But your point c) is also unproven because it is based on your unproven point b). Since I don't assume that you want to leave your point c) unproven, I will now discuss your point b): You surely agree that if Srila Prabhupada authorized some person to be a diksa guru in ISKCON, then obviously he would no longer be the sole diksa guru for ISKCON. So if in your point b) by "the diksa guru for ISKCON" you mean "the sole diksa guru for ISKCON", then you are actually claiming that until today Srila Prabhupada did not authorize any person to be a diksa guru in ISKCON. Can you please present some evidence for this claim. Otherwise, if by "the diksa guru for ISKCON" you mean "a diksa guru for ISKCON", then this does not necessarily mean that Srila Prabhupada remains the sole diksa guru for ISKCON. ys Ramakanta dasa
