Bhakti-shastri, Bhakti-vaibhava and Bhaktivedanta in Vrindavan

Dear Devotees,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

 

This is some information about our courses in Vrindavan this year. You can

come and study the Bhakti-shastras in the atmosphere of the holy place. This

year our Bhaktivedanta course begins, after the completion of the first

Bhakti-vaibhava course in Vrindavan last year. Srila Prabhupada wanted that

"family transcendental diploma would not be lost" and that his followers

become bhaktivedantas.

 

You can come for any whole course or you can take it in parts: you can study

in Vrindavan just one module or just one book and continue by correspondence

after that, or come again next year.

 

In October you can take part in the Kartik seminars and festivals in

Vrindavan. From November 17 to 24 Govardhan Retreat will take place.

 

 

*** Bhakti Shastri course ***

 

In-depth study of Bhagavad-gita, Nectar of Devotion, Nectar of Instruction

and Isopanisad. Srila Prabhupada wanted all the second-initiates to be

Bhakti Shastris.

 

Dates: July 5 to October 15

 

Requirements: Good sadhana, willingness to study and proficiency

in English. You also must have a recommendation from a senior devotee

who knows you well.

 

Participation in expenses: 7,001 Rupees (appr. $150) to help cover the

expenses connected with conducting the course.

*** Bhakti Vaibhava course ***

 

Study of the first six Canto of the Srimad-Bhagavatam. Do not stop at Bhakti

Shastri. Dive into the generous ocean of Vedic conclusions and

Krishna-katha.

 

Dates: July 5, 2006, to October 15 for the second year (Canto 3).

 

Requirements: Good sadhana, brahminical tendencies, Bhakti Shastri

diploma (or its equivalent in special cases) and proficiency in English.

You also must have a recommendation from a senior devotee who knows you

well.

 

Participation in expenses: 10,000 Rupees (appr. $230) to help cover the

expenses connected with conducting the course. This does not include room,

prasadam, and Kartik courses.

*** Bhaktivedanta course ***

 

Study of the last six Cantos of the Srimad-Bhagavatam.

 

Dates: November 28, 2006, to March 15, 2007, (Cantos 7, 8 & 9). January will

be spent in Sri Rangam.

 

Requirements: Good sadhana, brahminical tendencies, Bhakti-vaibhava

mostly completed and proficiency in English. You also must have a

recommendation from a senior devotee who knows you well.

 

Participation in expenses: 10,000 Rupees (appr. $230) to help cover the

expenses connected with conducting the course. This does not include room,

prasadam, and Kartik courses.
