Please accept my humble obeisancies.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

 

We need a helpful advise on the following matter.

 

The APP (Apple Protection Plan) policy states that they will REPLACE non

working machine with a NEW or refurbished one of the same or slightly better

grade. This is simple and clear, and we hear that in other places of the

world it works as it says.

 

Unfortunately Apple India has some other idea. Instead of replacing the

machine as per Apple policy they seem to circulate same parts around and

keep on replacing the parts, not the MACHINE.

 

Only since beginning of 2006 (not to count 2005), in the last 16 weeks this

Power Book has been serviced 6 times - 2 logic boards, 2 power adapters, one

screen, 2 batteries have been replaced - but still it is not working

properly. In the last 16 weeks we have not had use of the PB for 5 or more

of those weeks. At the moment we also don't have use of it.

 

Apple India service providers patch it up with sub-quality parts and give it

back, only to find after couple of weeks that it not functioning again.

 

This laptop is still under International warranty for another 2,5 months,

after which time we are basically going to lose a computer.

 

We are very much dependant on our equipment.

 

Anyone, please, give some advise how to deal with this!

 

I wish to have some contact e-mails for Apple headquaters in US to make my

inquiries, because Apple India, so as Apple Asia are not helpful so far.

 

Please, someone, help something?
