Guest guest
HARE KRISHNA Dear Devotees, Pl accept my humble obeisances and all glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva. With a sad heart I would like to inform you all on behalf of Sukhakar krishna das prabhu and Shyamadesh devotees of the passing away of our dear Godbrother HG Mohananda Krishna das on 16th April 2006 . He was a VERY DEAR member of Shyamadesh (a yatra in middle east) and left this country for attending to his childrens studies in 2004. He was a very devoted soul with great enthusiasam and had great service attitude. During the programs of our branch at Damodardesh he was very punctual in starting the arti at sharp 6.00 pm on every Friday without fail and had a great sense of vaishnava etiquette always smiling and never bogged down by any sort of Prajalpa. On 13th April prabhuji had gone to attend the opening of new temple at Angamali-Ernakulam which was inaugurated by HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj AND HH Gopalakrishna Goswami Maharaj. He reached home late and during his sleep fell off from his bed and injured his head which turned out to be fatal. His two children are studying in college and we pray to Lord Narasimghadeva for giving his wife and children strength to pass through this ordeal of loosing prabhuji. We request the yatra members to remember him your prayers also On 10th July 2003 HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj suddenly decided to visit Damodardesh and all our yatra leaders were out of the country and I took the opportunity to host Gurudeva at my residence. During this occasion even though it was a working day Mohanananda prabhu took great pain to help in organizing for this visit, preparation of prasadam and purchasing of things for Gurudeva and calling atleast 75 devotees that day who came to our place. He did a wonderful job in such a short time and never complaining of the hot july temperature in which he walked to so many places that day. Some how he had a prenomination of his going as he was very insistent that he be linked to the parampara very soon after joining our yatra. He would beg and cry that we gave him a chance to be the disciple of Gurudeva and had accumulated all the good qualities and requirements in just one year with a very good sadhana . he would tell us pl prabhuji pl help me to get initiated , pl train me as I don’t know how long I will live.i remembering chiding him for such talks but now I realize he was serious about the whole process. Even after going to kerala he continued with his preaching and would also travel around selling Srila Prabhupadas books. All glories to this very good vaishnava and we will miss him a lot Your humble servant Radhabhava gaur das An obituary by HG Panchatattva prabhu All glories to Srila Prabhupad All glories to Guru Maharaj Please accept my humble obeisances Today, hearing about Mohananda Das, who left his body yesterday is a heartbreaking news for me. I remember the days when I could meet him first, before his coming into ISKCON. It was about six years back, when we met together at Hotel Renaisance, Deira, Dubai wherein we were having a one week evening Training on Human Potential. We became friends and when I gave him some taste of Hare Krishna, he picked up very soon and I invited him to attend Bhakti Vriksha classes at Majari Mataji's House. As it was too long distance to come from Satva to Al Nahda area, I suggested him to attend Radhabhav Prabhu's houe, Bur Dubai. He followed classes and all the regulative principals and phylosophy of Prabhupada very soon and was eager to take initiation before going for good to Kerala. Now only his memories are left to me, I pray for his eternal happiness. Hare Krishna Pancatattva Pran Das MOHANANDA PRB
