Sorry, my reply was sent by mistake too soon without checking it.

 

What is written below is true, when the word srimat is used in a compounds

like for instance Srimad-Bhagavatam, Sriman-Nemi Maharaja.

 

But when it is used as separate word in nominative singular it will be

srimAn with a long a - like word bhagavAn.

 

In both cases meaning is same.

In compound should be: Srimad-Aranya
