Guest guest
Posted by Yaduraja on Apr 28, 2006: Dear Ramakanta Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > Since it is impossible to know what a pure Vaisnava wanted unless he said > it, I accept as a proof only a statement by Srila Prabhupada saying that > he wanted to be the sole diksa guru for ISKCON. I do not accept a proof > based on mind reading (he did X, therefore he wanted Y). If he made himself accepted and recognised as the sole diksa guru for ISKCON, which you agree is proven, then he must have wanted to do that since everything he did was deliberate. Please look up the word ‘deliberate’. There is no mind reading necessary. So once again, since you apparently agree that Srila Prabhupada always acted deliberately, and that we do not need to read his mind to know this since it is within the very definition of the term ‘Krishna Consciousness’, do you therefore agree that when... “Srila Prabhupada made himself recognised and accepted as the sole diksa guru for ISKCON in 1966” (a fact you agree is proven) he did so deliberately? (English lesson for Ramakanta prabhu: If you do something deliberately it means you do something intentionally. It means you wanted to do it. It also means you meant to do it. ) Best wishes Ys Yadu
