Well, the observation is not always possible, and if the cosmic

manifestation becomes known as Rahu, that seems to mean that it is rather

hazy and obscured (like Rahu).

 

It is actually a sublime qoute that you gave us. I just read the purport.

Some points of significance are that His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada is

mainly explaining that the devotee`s material desires will become visible by

Krishna`s Grace. He also says;"The failure of modern moon excursionists

*may* be due to the R€hu planet. In other words, those who are supposed to

be going to the moon *may* actually be going to this invisible planet R€hu."

 

The use of the word "may" seems to me Srila Prabhupada does not know

exactly....

 

His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada also explains that "In this regard,

Vivan€tha Cakravart… µh€kura cites the example of mother Yaod€’s seeing

the whole cosmic manifestation within the mouth of Lord KŠa. By the grace

of Lord KŠa, mother Yaod€ saw all the universes and planets within the

mouth of KŠa." So first of all, Srila Prabhupada simply goes on to explain

that "Similarly, by the grace of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, KŠa,

a KŠa conscious person can see all his dormant desires at one time and

finish all his future transmigrations." He does not adress the fact that

Mother Yasoda is seeing the universe. He goes on the help us to explain how

we can get out of this hell hole. To me it seems abvious that although

Mother Yasoda sees the whole cosmic manifestation, she might not know how

far away the moon is from the earth.
