avyagratvam anirvedo

japa-sampatti-hetavaƒ

 

1. Mind control (mind-reform)

2. purity

3. silence (gravity)

4. contemplation of the meaning

5. patience (absence of hurry)

6. perseverance (not losing heart)

 

These are the causes of obtaining the wealth of japa-meditation.
