Dear Ram Lakshman prabhu.

Pamho. AgtSP.

Can you please explain why would the upper quote be misuse of Prabhupada's

quote? Is it useless, or is it used improperly?

I thought this quote could be useful to others, so it is not useless. And I

didn't use it with any intention other that presenting Prabhupada's quote,

so it is not used improperly. How do we decide when quote is properly used

and when misused?

If you would hear this quote on Prabhupada's lecture, would you also

consider it being misused? Or is it misused, just because it was pasted by

another, and therefore there must be some evil intention behind it?

Any quote can be re-interpreted, therefore every quote can be presented as

misused. How do we understand, when quote is misused?

Can we speak of misuse of quotes, when motives of quotator are unknown? I

can understand misuse of quotes, when somebody wants to hurt another on

purpose. That is misuse. But when motive is not to hurt another, can we

speak of misuse. Or is it actually misunderstanding of properly used quote?

I beleive that in association of devotees, when we do not intend to hurt

another, perceived misused quotes are actually misunderstood properly used

quotes. Devotees do not want to hurt anybody, what to speak of hurting other

devotees. But we get misunderstood, becouse it is easier to conclude about

others motives, than asking another person about his motive and his

explanation.

But I may be off. So, please, how do you know, when quote is misused?
