It was interesting to me, how Srila Prabhupada responded to that "sinister" thingy. Although it was dangerous, Srila Prabhupada said that it still doesn't matter. Then he gives examples, of how poison cannot affect ISKCON, if there are some devotees like Prahlada Maharaja. Now, one can say, that who can ever become like Prahlada Maharaja. But it seems, that Srila Prabhupada already considered some devotees to be like that. Therefore he says: "I have therefore given the administrative power to the Governing Body Commission. I have tried to give you all Krsna Consciousness, now it is your duty to develop it. If you remain strong on the spiritual platform then your progress will not be checked or blocked." I'd say the point is, that those, who are strong, should remain strong, and others should become strong. I don't see how could anybody use this as against ISKCON, as it cleary shows, that Srila Prabhupada considered GBCs to be "as good as Prahlada Maharaja" and if they "remain strong on the spiritual platform", then "progress will not be checked or blocked". It is a quote, that basically says, "Don't worry, everything will be ok!" I still think there is some great encouragement in this verse, although it may have been misinterpreted by some. It is still nectar. ys gnd
