Guest guest
Hare Krishna, vaisnavas. Hope all is well. Accept my most humble obeisances at your feet, all glories to Srila Prabhupada. Some of the topics I would like to discuss are most controversial and I`m not sure if you can handle it. Having said that I`m sure you are all up for the challenge. Here it goes. Oh before I start I was hoping that we can also have a closed conference because of the extreme delicacy of soem of the topics I like to discuss. Let me also state here that I`m convinced Prabhupada is a resident from Goloka Vrndavana and knows the siddhantha of Bhakti yoga perfectly ("I am always ready to come back from Goloka Vrindaban" Letter to: Brahmananda--London,15 November, 1969). Prabhupada`s position on the moon. Prabhupada says the moon is farther away from the earth then the moon, but if one study`s Sadaphuta`s (Richard Thompson`s) book (Vedic Cosmography And Astronomy (new98))then one can undertsand that this is not the case. It is a little technical (and in order to discuss this one must read this book) but the situation is as follows. The moon is further away from the Bhu mandala then the sun (in height) (the bhu mandala being a higher dimensional disc in the middle of the universe (from this came the idea of the flat earth) , the earth situated as part of the bhu manadala (floating in that higher dimensional disc). But the sun is further away (in distance) from the earth then the moon. (the sun goes around the whole bhu mandala) So off course the question is how do we understand this, relating to Srila Prabhupada. There are more topics concerning this e.g. the size of the universe, the story of Vamanadeva lifting the earth (actually the bhu manadala), etc. And then there is another topic concerning Prabhupadas position concerning Hitler. How to understand that. The main point is, is Srila Prabhupada all knowing? I think most of us know the answer to that question but that does not fully solve the issues at hand.(Yes, those twelve symptoms of the spiritual soul are correct, except for ``all-knowing''. All-knowing it cannot be, but full of knowledge."Letter to: Rupanuga--Montrea,l3 July, 1968) and " Acarya is not God, omniscient. He is servant of God. His business is to preach bhakti cult. That is acarya."Morning Walk, April 9, 1975, Mayapur). At the same time we must be carefull not to see the "spiritual master as ordinary human being, these are hellish considerations."Morning Walk--June 29, 1974, Melbourne. Hopes this helps.
