Guest guest
Dear Hari-sauri Prabhu, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Thank you for your reply. > As long as it is prasadam -- actually offered to >Krsna with love and devotion -- there are many venues for its distribution >and the effects are often wonderful in terms of increasing the stature of >the devotees and the philosophy of Krsna consciousness. Srila Prabhupada even defines a devotee in terms of his/her attachment to prasadam: "Similarly, food offered to Lord Viñëu and then taken by us makes us sufficiently resistant to material affection, and one who is accustomed to this practice is called a devotee of the Lord". BG 3.14 purp. Judging by this definition, the wretched residents of Grozny, Chechnya, who ate excusively prasadam (as their only daily meal) and were attached to it to the point of tears, were not just devotees, but paramahamsas. :-) Begging to remain your servant, Madana-mohana das
