I'm just a bit mental and need some good inspiration and guidance. Thank you for your answer. It is most inspiring and educating. I will not give up my endeavour to develop proper understanding. Although sometimes I feel desperate, I must admit. Srila Prabhupada's words are so clear, that it almost hurts. There is no problem in taking Srila Prabhupada's words literally. It can be done, I have full faith in that. But the problem arises, when I meet with wast ocean of interpretations by ISKCON devotees. This is where uncertainty starts. I think to myself, that maybe my "literal" understanding of Srila Prabhupada is not correct, if others have their own "literal" understanding. Should I just remain faithful to my understanding, or better adopt understanding of other's. Everybody says, thet they best understand Srila Prabhupada. But then, which version of interpretation should I adopt. They all seem ok, at least to some extent. I know, that I should test any idea directtly with Srila Prabhupada. But if others can go off, while reading same books, then I will probably go off too. It is a fight, I can see that. Thats the only solution I can come up with right now. Mistakes will be made, but what can be done. I should just go on. ===== Rather than becoming overly cautious, better to keep on strongly pushing our points, and simultaneously endeavoring to become more expert and realized. >>> Ref.
