Guest guest
Dear Madana-mohana Prabhu, PAMHO. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. What you have described about the ISKCON's food relief activities in Chenchnya and other places in Eastern Europe are laudable efforts to reach out to less fortunate people with the end result of bringing them to Krishna consciousness. So no one will fault that . What we are seeing is the explosive situation of ISKCON's charitable activities in India, that are really far from we can call devotional service. In India, all the personnels engaged in those activities are paid, be they cooks, drivers, managers, and even the devotees who are supposedly be coordinating those activities are given allowances. Of course in India, the devotional service is far from we can call ahaituki, with even temple brahmacaries getting monthly allowances. In most temples, the pujaris are paid, otherwise there will be no temple service. Anyway, I think it is the situation in India that ISKCON leaderships need looking into. your servant, Isvara dasa.
