Guest guest
<<Dear Giri-nayaka Prabhu Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! There is no question>> I agree here with Bh. Mick from ITV. There is no question! It has been discussed and concluded in the conference. If anyone cares to join and read it and understand it please do so. Just to remind what Madhu Gopal Prabhu wrote: <<You asked: "Do you think to know means to fully understand every possible explanation? Or to be able to illustrate a point to every egghead on the planet? Or does it mean to know the difference between the true siddhanta and false theory?" Some devotees seem to think it means that Prabhupada knows everything. I don`t know.... It seems to be contradicting. the reality. So one example I brought up was the moon. Prabhupada says (but this is more for arguments sake, Prabhupada is just upholding the Vedic principle, "if the sun is 93,000,000 *then* the moon must be 93,000,000 plus 800,000 (since the moon is 100,000 yojanas above the sun (seen from the Bhu-mandala)" the moon is 94,000,000 miles away from the earth. What is actually going on is that the moon is 200,000 yojanas above the Bhu-mandala (a higher dimensional disc in the middle of this universe). The earth is situated within the Bhu-mandala. Altough the moon is higher then the sun, the sun is further away. It seems to me that Srila Prabhupada did not fully understand this. Now I might go to hell for making such a statement, but what can I do? I`m from Holland (I`m conditioned), and Dutch just have to speak the truth no matter what. I don`t know what to say. Perhaps we should quickly discus this (in one sense horrible subject) and then never discuss it again. I don`t know? Off course, as far as I`m concerned, the topic of the universe is like discussing the toilet. It is unimportant knowledge for going back to Godhead, but important for preaching sake. And His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, is in perfect knowledge as far as (bhakti) siddhanta is concerned.>>
