Guest guest
Pamho. AGTSP. Mah€r€ja Par…kit had their council of advisers, and all the members of that council were either great sages or br€hmaŠas of the first order. They did not accept any salary, nor had they any necessity for such salaries. The state would get the best advice without expenditure. They were themselves sama-dar…, equal to everyone, both man and animal. SB 1.16.1 There are some thoughts that brahmana's should accept salary? How would then a brahmana who teaches shastra maintain his family? Does a brahmana have to live more simple or can live opulently by his teaching shastra profession?
