Yes, I'm sure that we would happily hug each other after that, and all would

be "flowers from the sky".

Hari Sauri Prabhu would best describe this. I can quote:

===============

After hearing both sides, Prabhupada spoke. He broke the deadlock. He

finally settled the issue by wonderfully preaching to everyone that it does

not matter what one is, one can do anything and go anywhere for Krsna. We

are not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of external dress. One

is to be judged on the basis of one's advancement in Krsna consciousness.

===============

Here we can see authoritative mediation in action. Please kindly compare

this level with democratic mediation attempts, which are promoted nowadays.

Sahstra should be mediator, and Srila Prabhupada used this principle in

practice.

==========

"I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge

and forgetfulness." When two parties fight, the fighting actually goes on

under the direction of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is Paramatma,

the Supersoul.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => SB 6.12.7

==========

On one occasion, when two Godbrothers were quarrelling as to who was in the

superior position, Prabhupada gave instructions to the devotee whom he

recognized as the leader.
