            Pranams toyou all.

Here is an excerpt for the members to study, chew and digest.

    Quote:

The world is not a creation by an extraneous entity, but is the immediate manifestation of Reality, and this truth is not discovered by SPECULATION but by an examination of the three states  Viz. waking, dream and deep sleep.

The Pure Consciousness, which is one and undivided in sleep suddenly and without an intermediate stage of preparation, manifests itself as the world of the waking consciousness, thereby baffling all the powers of human understanding, which is a slave of causality.

In this way we see that the world is the essence of the Reality, though how Reality suddenly assumed the new shape without imparing its own  integrity, must be a lasting mystery. We have here to deal with FACTS and NO INDULGENCE IN THEORY OR SPECULATION  is permissible. For, the plane from which we view the three states is transcedental, reached by INTUITION and NOT BY INTELLECT.

It may be asked whether Pure Consciousness can spend itself in itself in its manifestation and yet remain in its integrity unchanged. But the question SERVES  NO PURPOSE, for SUCH IS OUR NATURE.

Note: Pure Consciousness is Brahman, Atman, Purusha etc.

    Unquote:

A request is made to the members who are genuinely interested in knowing their true nature to refer to their own LIFE and verify.

    With respectful and warm regards,

     Dear friends,

Mr Srinuvasa Murthy is raising explosive questions and abstains from discussion saying that one should not be stuck up with intellect, but use it only as a tool to know the beyond. He is correct. Does intellect as any relevance in knowing the fundamental things in life, even as an instrument? Intellect is much later in the scheme of truth. Should not intellect abide in the position, “ I don’t know,†which does not mean that the answer will be got at some point in future or from somebody, to wit, as an objective knowledge? Vidyaranya traces everything other than the Self to Maya. Are there two things, pure consciousness and manifestation, or such an idea is itself misconceived, involving a detour? Life is only a mystery to be lived and not a cross-word puzzle to be answered. The acquisitive mind should put a stop to its movements. Only a zen master can answer the question raised, which is not verbal, but total Silence, not the kashta-mouna of

some people practicing it. As Bhaghavan Ramana has beautifully clarified, the only relevant thing seems to be to turn back all the questions to the questioner himself till the questioner also gets dissolved like the stick used in spreading the flames of the burning dead-body, itself getting burnt. Thayumanar says, “ Thanana thanmayamey alladu veru edaium thalai edukka ottathu. Jnagaramum jneyamum attru nazhuvadu nazhuvi nirkum; adan perumayai yar solla vallar. Aduvanal aduvey sollum.† That which exists as its own Being does not admit of anything alien to be seen. Bereft of the trinities of knower, known and knowledge, That  unswerving  from its Being escapes all perception. Who or what can extol its glory other than It. Trying to answer this question involves, ‘anavastha dosa,’ the fallacy of infinite regress.

  With warm regards,

  Yours ever in Bhaghavan Ramana

  Sankarraman

  Dear Sri Shankarraman,

I am not raising any explosive questions. I am not raising any question at all.  I am pointing out certain facts of Life which many Mumukshus may not be aware of and may not be knowing   the importance  and necessity of cognizing such facts within themselves in their journey towards Self-Realization. I am sharing these because  cognition of these facts have helped the writer of this letter in his journey towards the Supreme Goal.

I abstain from any discussion because where universal facts are concerned  discussions, arguements, counter-arguements etc. have no place. Only thing a person who is not aware of the facts has to do is TO SEE IN THE DIRECTION  AS HAS BEEN POINTED OUT. The Seeing is a MUST. Without doing it , to raise unnecessary doubts, to get into discussions  is absolutely futile and fruitless.

That is what my Guru instructed me.

  With warm and respectful regards

      Sreenivasa murthy
