Guest guest
Dear Suresh What you think is correct. Days in a week are astronomical divisions of time by vedic astrology. I am reproducing the information as Icome across it in one of the old palmleaves book of one of my grandfather's freind. The source is perhaps Yavana Jatakam. Write the name of the planets in a order according to their period of revolution round the sun in a circle. Starting from Sun the 4th planets in the order will be daylords of the successive weekdays, i.e. counting 4th from sun will come moon( Monday/ Somavar), 4th from moon is mars (mangalavar/ Tuesday), and so on. . * . . Sat *Jupiter . . .. *Mars *Moon . *Sun(Earth) *Mercury . . . . * Venus Let all be happy. M. Tripathy welcome e-mail: swc2
