Guest guest
If you get an email stating "I Love You" and "Examine this link for I love you note", then don't open the email, just delete it. Or you'll be saying "I Love You" to everyone in your address book, and your lawyer, your enemy, your ex, well, you probably wouldn't send them love notes ever, least of all with Viruses attached. Sounds like unsafe computing sex. I got the I love you letter today from one of our users, and who may be on this list, so watch out. Knowing what I know, I usually don't open anything sent to me. However, this one was intriguing because it's file signature was both as .vbx, a visual basic program, and as .txt, a text file, so intrigued, I read through it as a text file. It was basic code. I think I was smart enough to not run the thing. If you get an I Love You from me, then let me know. I could see this thing goes into your address books and sends all the addresses to various places, does various things, like emailing itself around, and so on. It's open code, for anyone to see. So this is our big may 4th disaster. Hmmm. Not very impressive. However, it did bring a great pain to many large institutions worldwide today. It's a pretty powerful little bugger. In other news: On 5-27-93, I bought my first Jyotish books, and cast my first charts. 5 27 93=12 5 planets, 27 nakshatras, 12 signs Out of 9 planets there are 2 luminaries, 7 planets (2 nodes, 5 planets) I found other interesting checks today in my old files. I'm cleaning out files. I figure "sure that's a great thing to do when there's like the whole zodiac transiting your first house, and specifically your Venus. Go over all the money you've wasted. Better than reading Viral code from some weirdo in the Phillipines. Peace -- Das Goravani, Pres. Probably "bright" because I wasn't effected... However, people all over the world have been saying "I love you" to each other! So it is amusing for those who didn't have damage.
