Guest guest
Dear Das and gjlist group, I wonder if anyone has comments about what factors might be operating to cause a person to have Parkinson's disease? And in the case I will describe, does anyone have an idea what factors are operating in my recently deceased father's chart? My father passed away last September after experiencing Parkinson's disease for about 5 years. He fell several times, was given so many medications to stop the tremors that he was basically incoherent and hallucinating much of 1999. Das mentions the 12th house being a place for spiritual contemplation and in the case of a less-spiritual choice, where one might receive physical medication. <<So the twelfth, despite it's other bad allocations, also rules some really good and important things, if you're into Divinity, otherwise it's all yucky medicine.>> In my father's case, Dad was highly medicated with powerful drugs. His doctors thought he suffered from dementia even when he was telling them the truth, since my father's female companion told the doctors in California that she was his wife. Dad tried to tell the doctor this past year the truth: that they had never married. The doctor assumed he was suffering dementia. Dad's long time consort flew him from Florida to California several times in 1999, and in early 1999 Dad suffered a mild heart attack. She kept the names of Dad's family members from the hospital records, and instead lied to the hospital and medical people that her niece and her daughter were Dad's daughters, and that she was Dad's wife. In truth, my father was married twice: to my mother who passed away in 1963, and to a second wife whom he divorced in 1971. My younger brother who lives in California, 16 miles from Dad's hospital, visited Dad often at the hospital last year, never knowing any of the deceptions going on. I live in Virginia, so have had to uncover these things through contact with medical records people who do not wish to disclose anything freely. However, some avenues have opened up to allow truth to have its day in the sunshine, which I expect will become a matter of public record in the year or years to come. My father was born July 6, 1918, in Brooklyn, NY (time unknown). Many thanks to any who would like to discuss Parkinson's or any other aspect of this unusual case, including what may likely be the 12th house for my deceased father. Your grateful fellow traveler, Carol Hook
Guest guest
Dear Mr. Goravani. Going through the Word Document provided as an outprint of your program, you state one line. Heaven at death------ --------------------- /JUPIN12/ Jupiter is in 12. Would you please clarify? I'm especially interested in this as I infact have Jupiter in 12th. What interpretation would we give this from a hinduistic/buhddistic philosophy?. Best Wishes Yours Visti Larsen P.S. Great Program.. thanx. Guest guest
Ever moving forward, on to the future, we strive towards "better", which means peace, satisfaction, happiness, and other goals which feel good, and don't feel bad. Heaven is the ultimate 'feel good'. Jupiter is the religious giver. The twelfth has to do with old age and death and some classics say "the next life", which can be taken to grow from wherever we "are at" when we're old...as we think and act, so on to that destination we go. So Jupiter in the 12th is good for becoming religious more and more with time, and therefore it helps the future life greatly. This sentence "Heaven at death" for Jupiter in 12th comes from classics, not me. The readings in GJ are mostly from classics. I have notices the following: The 4 houses 3/6/9/12 are "twelfth" to the angles, which make us the backbone of our bodily life now. So these houses mentioned, well they "drain energy" from the angles. They are therefore involved in liberation, because liberation does include turning away from, and giving up, most worldly considerations. Like 10th house is Pratishta, or name and fame, and 9th house or dharma certainly leads us away from this aim of life. So the 12th is 4th from 9th, and is therefore heart of God, and Real Estate of God, and so on. That's why it rules old age homes and hospitals, because people are doing alot of praying there. I have been down on my knees in a hospital once or twice, praying either for my own life or somebody elses. Certainly in old age homes you find some pretty ernest devotions going on. So the twelfth, despite it's other bad allocations, also rules some really good and important things, if you're into Divinity, otherwise it's all yucky medicine. Guest guest
Dear friends, I received no response to my request for commentary about Parkinson's, and possible 12th house for my father who died Sept. 10, 1999 in Redwood City, CA at 2:05 am Pacific Time. This is my second (and last) request, in case someone meant to comment. I thank you all for tolerating my email to this list. Best wishes to all, Carol

Apart from general astrological purposes, not having the TOB does not give us much to work with, especially in the area of longevity and determination of chronic illness, which can be very specific and tricky areas of study. Guest guest
Namaste Robert, Many thanks for your reply. Currently I do not know my father's time of birth, so I will need to determine it through deep reflection over the years behind and the years ahead. Blessings to you!
