Guest guest
Namaste Vox I was interested in what you had to say about your 8th house experiences. Of course it can be an extremely difficult house, but we should not forget that it is also a house of moksha or enlightenment, which represents the death of ignorance and death of the ego. So there is a good side to the 8th house too! It is the house of the transcendent and samadhi, so meditation should be excellent for you, and Mars in the 8th could provide the drive and energy necessary for focusing on meditation and other spiritual practices like yoga and astrology, which are all domains of the 8th house. Best wishes Steve - <VoxIndigo <gjlist > Monday, June 05, 2000 1:24 AM [gjlist] Mars in the eighth In a message dated 06/03/2000 3:14:55 PM Pacific Daylight Time, costa writes: << So it can help one cut away what has become superfluos and redundent . Guest guest
My father has Mars in the 8th and has owned many vehicles, but has never owned a home or invested in real estate. In fact, he has lived in motor homes and other vehicles his entire life, parking them on land owned by other individuals. Kiersten

I don't own any good jewelry, just a single moonstone an indian astrologer told me to wear for my hopeless moon. I don't have good clothes or furniture or anything like this -- I'm basically destitute except for a very good computer and many, many books. So what is the answer, Manoj? Is mars in the eighth good for property or bad? I would, just using my intuition, say it was probably better for moveable property? Cars, horses, possibly ( lol) firearms? What do you think? It seems sort of appropriate that Kiersten's father lives in a moving vehicle? Thanks. Vox
Guest guest
Since we are discussing Mars in 8th I'll put my 2 cents in. I have Mars in 8th conjunct Rahu and have been running the Rahu Mars dasas for years now and wont finish till many years later. I recently acquired property but it was by accident since we built an extension room on our house and it went over into someone else's lot. Hence we had to buy the lot or tear down. It was been a great strain for me to pay off this mortgage over that last few years and I've been borderline bankruptcy at times. But wait it gets worse! Saturn aspects Mars form the 6th. Saturn is the yogakaraka however but still Saturn. I believe I would be dead or incapacitated now if not for Jupiter aspecting from the 2nd giving relief plus Mars is lord if the 12th which vepreet raja yoga. Comments are welcome...
