Guest guest
Natabara, a moment of your time please!! Do you speak of the inauspiciousness of only the 14th day of the lunation, or do you speak of the inauspiciousness of the whole 14 day period immediately following the Full Moon. I really do need to know this as I am about to commence a major internet enterprise. I have slated it to start on the 17th of July, just as Mercury goes direct (conjunct the solar eclipse of July 1 no less). I have wrestled with issues of the Moon for a long time. According to ancient western astrology all undertaking commenced during the waning period of the Moon are "doomed". According to my understanding of Jyotish, a full moon can actually be good, as it is "full" or "ripe". Notwithstanding the fact that I have been in "preparatory" stage for a long time and I financially need to get the business going, I need to be right with the stars, after all I am an astrologer. It is almost assured self-torture trying to figure out the best time to start things, all other possible beginning actions aside (the purchase, the design phase, getting on the server) the grand opening announcement should get the best astrology. I realize I am between two eclipses with a lunar in between, Mercury stationary. I COULD wait 14 more days until the new moon eclipse but I think Mercury stationary direct in it own sign will be the most definite boost and I have timed it grand opening to coincide with that. SOOOO, getting to my point here, Natabara, am I still in the clear with a July 17th launch date? (you can check it out below--parts are still under construction) __________ Curtis Burns 3800 Elliot Ave Minneapolis, MN 55407 PH/FX 612-823-9104 Website: http://www.globalpersonalvictory.com Essential Oils: http://www.globalpersonalvictory.com/yl Natabara [Natabara] Friday, July 14, 2000 12:25 PM gjlist [gjlist] 14th day of the Moon Dear members of this list Pranams to everybody. I have read in the Astrological Magazine many years ago a very interesting comment. As far as my memory goes it goes like this: The Kurus had a very good astrologer whom advised to start the Kuruksetra War on Amavasya day (New Moon) to make sure of having a victory against the Pandavas. It was a very good piece of electional astrology in order to defeat the army lead by Arjuna. Lord Krishna by being as well the Paramatma in every heart knew about this and therefore He told the Pandavas to follow Him to the river to offer oblations to the forefathers. The oblations to the Pitris is done during Amavasya day and not during the 14th day. The Pandavas knew that it was not the proper time or day for such a ritual but they had within their hearts all their faith on their cousin, they knew that He had a plan and they just follow the Lord. On the other side of the battlefield, the Kurus were observing with amazement that the oblation was being performed during the 14th tithi. They thought that their own astrologer made a mistake in calculating the calendar for that month and therefore they were missing a very good opportunity of starting the War. They knew that they had a very good astrologer but they knew within their hearts that Krishna is the Supreme astrologer and therefore they thought that they had to start the war immediately. And so they did and we know from history that after 18 days of war, the Kurus lost the Kuruksetra War. According to vedic astrology, works started during the 14th day of the moon have the propensity to fail and therefore we are supposed to do only routine jobs or jobs that we have already started previously. While writing this email I have seen few interruptions and omens and just at the beginning of the 14th tithi a car alarm went off outside the house. The Moon is already in Sagittarius putting a lot of pressure on Gemini. People that have Moon in Gemini or ascendant or planets, they are having a very energetic time (depending in the planets involved). Now, Gemini has the Sun, Mars and Mercury and Gemini is in both papa and subhakartari yoga by having as neighbors, Jupiter and Saturn in Taurus and Venus and Rahu in Cancer, plus the Moon in Sagittarius for a couple of days. Not wonder that so many people are having sleepless nights. The 14th day of the Moon (if you have not seen the calendar, started today at 8:51 GMT and it will end tomorrowat 11:23 GMT. Good look and look for the omens. Thank you for listening Natabara Das ------ Your old buddies are not out of range anymore.
